Might I suggest Coeur Noir by Heretic: it is haunting, it is 2002, the church is collapsing and the incense still lingers. Sweet, but sickly and dead and cold-spicy. Pairs well with Nosferatu's petrichor if you wanted to make it rain.

i'm a huge fan of niche perfumery, nostalgic premises and cute or strange accords. i've been DYING to try marissa zappas' line but luckyscent's shipping to australia is NUTS. i love dirty, lactonic, rustic scents, and am currently pursuing a quest into incense and church-y perfumes; i've heard of coeur noir and will put it on my to try list, with this recommendation... if you e-mail me, we can talk further about perfumes as not to clog this guestbook.. thank you for the message.
